Drake jumped on Insta to showcase his new personal basketball court and I’d be lying if I said this wasn’t one of the most relatable things I’ve ever seen.
Yeah maybe it’s not relatable to own enough land and have enough money to build a personal basketball court from ground up but the mentality is that of every sports fan.
The man just sat front row for the NBA Finals and I’d guess around game three he said to himself “You know what I bet I could do that”. He probably rationalized to himself that he’s so busy with other stuff (his illustrious rap career) but if he put in the practice he’d probably be able to keep up with the pros.
EVERY SINGLE SPORTS FAN HAS HAD THIS THOUGHT BEFORE.
I’d even go as far to say that the farther you are away from being a pro-level athlete, the fatter, slower, and less athletic you are, the more you believe you could compete with professional athletes if you just had enough time to work on your game.
It’s so ridiculously relatable that Drake did this. He legitimately thinks that if he works on his jump shot enough he’ll be able to shoot 40% from 3. The only difference between you and him is that he has time, money, and is friends with Steph Curry. But all that means is we’ll actually get to see a fan get brutalized by pro athletes.
