Welcome to my blog! I’m so happy you could make it. Let me give you the quick tour:
- What’s this all about? This is just a place where I plan to share my writing and thoughts.
- Okay but what is Drivel? Drivel is the section where I’ll post my inane opinions. It will most closely resemble the style of a normal blog. It’s a brain vacation. Just low-stakes nonsense and feelings on anything from pop culture to sports to style to Harry Styles. But mostly Harry Styles’ style.
- Then what the hell is Glibbery? Glibbery is the section where I’ll post more long form written pieces and satire. These will be a bit more thought out then what I drool out in Drivel but still should not be taken seriously.
- I’m not sure I want to even know but who is Marty? Marty is my 74 year old intern. He exclusively writes the advice column on this site. The full blog on how this arrangement came to be can be found here.
- Can I just not read this? Yes, that is definitely an option.
- Good because I’ve never really found you funny or all that interesting. Okay no worries, just don’t read the blog.
- Overall I think you kind of suck dude. OKAY I GOT IT!
Taking a brief intermission from the fake fight I was just having with myself above, I just wanted to say that I am very excited about this. I’ve been writing blogs and satirical pieces privately for some time now and it’s always been a fun release. Now that I plan to share these pieces, I truly hope some of you can find enjoyment in them as well.
