A Moment In The Sun: A Look At The State Of Summer Drink Trends

Whoa that’s an intense headline. Chill dude, it’s Labor Day.

Anyway, so I’ve had White Claws on my mind a lot lately. And in my hand hehe. Just kidding. I didn’t leave the house much this summer.

ANWAY (again!), I can’t stop thinking about how every 2 to 3 summers there is a new drink of the summer and it’s all we talk about. This year it was White Claws. Two years ago it was Frose.

So how the hell does this happen? It seems like no star burns brighter or faster than a summer drink trend. It’s here. It’s everywhere. Then it’s gone. Poof.

Who is deciding the drink of the summer? I need to know! Or atleast I need to know where I can put in my bid for drink of the summer 2020. Here is what I’d propose:

Unseasonal Drinks. Boom.

I’d like to take the seasonal flavors from other seasons and input them into summer drinks.

We’re talking pumpkin flavored rose.

We’re talking gingerbread flavored hard lemonade.

We’re talking candy corn flavored beer.

We’re talking peppermint flavored mojitos. Okay mojitos are kind of already minty but is anyone calling them Pojitos yet?!? Huh? That’s where the money is!!

Okay, this was silly but also someone is going to make a billion dollars off one of these ideas.

Have a great Labor Day!
